I read it all the way... then it comes to where I think the films finally started and I realise it's the end of the film... GREAT isn't it....

I can't believe the bad reviews on this movie. It is a complete story about the "origin" of an earthbound hero and it's done amazingly. If you want a normal superhero movie go sit half unconsciously through fantastic four and never think about the movie again. On the other hand this is a complete and powerful film that if you have a comic book bone in your body should be easy to connect with. The beauty in this twist isn't the shocking spookiness that the sixth sense had it's the wonderful inevitability of it. This movie had to end this way to be so great but there's still no way you see it coming. Overall I give this movie 8 thumbs up.

In my opinion that's an interesting film, you should watch if you're this kind of person who cannot stand hero action films. I assure you won't guess how it ends.

Unreal movie if you're interested in comics or extending your knowledge of comics and how comics began. Of course any shayamalan movie is going to be different than what you're expecting, but it's worth the hour and a half or so of your time to watch it.

Yes, I have a comic book bone in me and the 'Superhero' I love is Batman, if you call him a Superhero that is. But I prefer the Nolan type, Frank Miller type Batman and not the one from ordinary Marvel comics. And this movie, whether a superhero movie or not is still a masterpiece in terms of script and direction and of course acting. I loved Newton Howard's music too. This is on those movies which has an immediate impact on your life. And for those who wanted this movie to start where it exactly ended, you all immature people, go. Go and watch Spiderman, Ironman, Thisman, thatman, Fantastic Four, Ninza turtles, are waiting for you. This movie of a real blood superhero is not your cup of tea.

Carl Fredrik Hellqvist (9 out of 10 )
One of the best films of 2000. I think it's way underrated. It simply was too smart for the average audience who thought they were going to watch a super hero movie with all the action. I personally loved the film and I loved reading the script. It gave me the chills in several occasions. Night did a terrific job.

There is more dialogue in the film from Elijah at the end of the film. I can't make it out but I think he says something like... They call me Mister Glass. Am I wrong? Is it in fact the hint of the sequel to come?
